Looking for a Research Associate to join our team!

Project Description:

The project to be undertaken will explore the roles of intestinal immune responses and inflammation in the development of Parkinson’s Disease. We are part of a multidisciplinary team specifically interrogating the immunological mechanisms involved in the propagation of signals from the gut to the brain in mouse models of Parkinson’s Disease. Qualifications / Required Skills:

The ideal candidate would have a Ph.D. plus several years’ postdoctoral experience and with high level expertise in mouse models and immunology including multiparameter flow cytometry, isolation and culture of primary cells, and immunostaining. Background in intestinal biology and microbiology is an asset. The candidate should have excellent supervisory and communication skills and be able to work both independently and as an effective member of a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Our lab is located in the Bellini pavilion of the McGill Life Sciences complex.
